The Gala Dinner was be held at the Hilton Sydney on the conclusion of Day One on Tuesday 18 July 2017.
The 2017 Gala Dinner, proudly sponsored by NAB, provided an opportunity to relax and enjoy a night of networking, entertainment, drinks and a three-course meal at the conclusion of the Day One conference. The Clean Energy Council Industry Awards were presented on the night.

Annabel Crabb was the host of the 2017 Gala Dinner.
Annabel is a renowned journalist, political correspondent, sketchwriter and author. She won a Walkley Award in 2009 for her Quarterly Essay 'Stop At Nothing: The Life And Adventures of Malcolm Turnbull', and has published two political books, 'Losing It' and 'Rise Of The Ruddbot'.
As host of the ABC's enormously popular series Kitchen Cabinet, Annabel has broken bread with Australia's most influential political leaders and shared her magnificent desserts in kitchens around the country.
The keynote speaker at the 2017 Gala Dinner was Federal Energy and Environment Minister Josh Frydenberg.
In a year where energy and the environment has never been far from the headlines, Mr Frydenberg gave his take on the current state of energy policy in Australia and provided insight into the Federal Government's future plans for the sector.
