The Gala Dinner will be held at the Hilton Sydney on the conclusion of Day One on Tuesday 18 July 2017.

The 2017 Gala Dinner is proudly sponsored by NAB.

The Gala Dinner provides an opportunity to relax and enjoy a night of networking, entertainment, drinks and a three-course meal at the conclusion of the Day One conference. The Clean Energy Council Industry Awards are also presented on the night.

Gala Dinner host

We are excited to welcome back Annabel Crabb as the host of this year's Gala Dinner.

Annabel is a renowned journalist, political correspondent, sketchwriter and author. She won a Walkley Award in 2009 for her Quarterly Essay 'Stop At Nothing: The Life And Adventures of Malcolm Turnbull', and has published two political books, 'Losing It' and 'Rise Of The Ruddbot'.

As host of the ABC's enormously popular series Kitchen Cabinet, Annabel has broken bread with Australia's most influential political leaders and shared her magnificent desserts in kitchens around the country.

Keynote speaker

Joining us as the keynote speaker at this year's Gala Dinner will be Federal Energy and Environment Minister Josh Frydenberg.

In a year where energy and the environment has never been far from the headlines, Mr Frydenberg will give his take on the current state of energy policy in Australia and provide insight into the Federal Government's future plans for the sector.
